ShopBrain reads the documented records needed for analytics, follows pagination, and tracks synchronization progress and failures.
Source fields are organized into a consistent model and restricted to the connected shop’s workspace.
Findings and recommendations live in ShopBrain. The owner decides what, if anything, should be changed in RepairDesk.
Illustrative example
ShopBrain may identify a group of tickets for the same device family that returned soon after completion. It can show the supporting RepairDesk ticket records and explain the pattern, but it cannot edit those tickets, message customers, or change technician assignments. This is an illustrative scenario.
Where ShopBrain fits
ShopBrain provides a manual Sync for immediate retrieval, an automatic RepairDesk sync every six hours, and failed-sync alerts. Its documented boundary is read-only for operational RepairDesk records; ShopBrain recommendations never auto-execute in the source system.
Important limits
Read-only access still handles business and customer information, so authentication, authorization, and retention controls remain important.
Available analytics depend on the fields and endpoints exposed by the connected RepairDesk account.
An authorized shop administrator should revoke the connection if the service is no longer used.
